New Sub-Adviser Named for Quaker Mid-Cap Value Fund

Malvern, PA - Effective October 1, 2008, Kennedy Capital Management, Inc. (KCM) has assumed the role of sub-adviser to the Quaker Mid-Cap Value Fund replacing Global Capital Management, Inc.

KCM is an independent, employee-owned Investment Advisor located in St. Louis, MO, specializing in the management of Mid and Small Cap U.S. equities. This is Kennedy’s first foray into managing a U.S. publicly traded mutual fund. Traditionally an institutionally oriented firm, CEO Randy Kirkland believes the Quaker relationship "is a great way for us to diversify our revenue stream and grow our asset base in the mid cap space."

KCM leverages the depth of its expertise of the firm’s investment professionals in security selection, portfolio construction and practical risk management to develop a continually scrutinized portfolio of Mid and Small Cap stocks. Located in St. Louis, Missouri, Kennedy Capital employs a full time staff of 51. The firm focuses on small and mid cap domestic equities, with assets under management of approximately $3.6 billion at the end of September.

The Quaker Mid-Cap Value Fund commenced operations in December 1997 and had more than $18 million in assets under management as of October 1, 2008.

"We are excited to add KCM to our sub-adviser line up." states Jeffry H. King, Sr., chairman of Quaker Funds, Inc. "KCM’s culture of innovation and entrepreneurship is consistent with our own. We share the same commitment to delivering exceptional investment management to mutual fund investors. We are confident the transition will be a seamless one."
